Arranged by the State Council Leading Group Office of Poverty Alleviation and Development, COAMC was twined with Shaoyang County in Hunan province to provide targeted poverty alleviation assistance in 2010. By the end of 2013, COAMC collected 2.75 million RMB for poverty reduction and provided materials for schools worth of over 100,000 RMB to significantly improve the conditions for Orient Hope Primary School and Wenchang Primary School in the Shaoyang County, Hunan province.
